Coolcampers Wedding Bus

We offer a wedding transport service within 30 miles of Throop, Bournemouth. If you live outside of the catchment area then feel free to contact us because we might still be able to

Please note: the micro bus van can hold up to six passengers in total.

Package prices for the VW Micro Bus are as follows:

Pick-up from home/hotel/other and driven to reception - £175
Pick-up from home/hotel/other being driven to a photo location and then taken to the church - £225
Pick-up from home/hotel/other being driven to the church and then on to the reception - £275
Pick-up from home/hotel/other being driven to a photo location then to the church and on to the reception - £325

What the booking includes:

The booking means you get our wonderful van for four hours from first pick-up point. This should ensure plenty of time for journeys to and from the church and on to your reception. We plan the fastest route to get you around on your special day, which means there should be plenty of time for photographs too!

Our van is dedicated to you for your special day. It is decked out in ribbons and will be driven by a female chauffeur – there is also a male chauffeur on hand if preferred. Inside the van will be a complimentary bottle of champagne, which is included as part of your chosen package. If you would rather have non-alcoholic champagne, spirits or soft drinks, these can be provided; however, please state this at the time of booking as they may incur a small charge.

Extra information:

Please contact us if you are intending on travelling with a small child, this is because the law states that children up to 135cm tall or the age of 12 (whichever comes first) must travel in the correct child restraint for their weight. You will be required to provide a booster or car seat for that child.

If you require the van for any additional hours then the price per hour will be £25.

If you are out of our 30-mile area then we charge an extra £1 per mile (travelling costs) to get to your wedding.

Toll charges and congestion charges on routes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the client.

1973 Micro Bus

Coolcampers has a wonderful Micro Bus originally from sunny California for your special day. The bus was originally brought by a lady in the USA many years ago where it was hardly driven. The lady decided that the bus was not for her and so stored it for over 30 years in a garage!

In 2008 she decided to sell it at her local annual fair where it was purchased by us. The original mileage of the bus is only 197 miles – yes, you did read that right… only 197 miles! It has all the original interior and drives like a brand new VW bus.

Payment Terms



If our bus is available for your special day then please follow our payment terms below:

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit if the booking is over one month away, or full payment if the wedding is within one month. Once deposit or full payment is received then the van is reserved for you.

Payment can be made either by cheque, cash or postal order. All cheques should be made payable to Coolcampers.

Cancellations need to be made 30 days before the wedding. If you have paid in full and cancel before the 30 days are up then we will refund the final amount excluding the deposit. If the wedding is postponed then we will carry your payment forward.

All refunds will be paid back to the person who initially paid for the booking minus a £5 admin fee.

We will send out a confirmation letter, along with receipt for your deposit or full payment once it has been received.

Quotations are valid for up to 30 days.
